December 20, 1976 – October 18, 2025
William Wrightsman, lovingly known as Bill or Billy to all who knew him, passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 48. A lifelong New Yorker, Bill most recently made his home in Valley Stream, where his warmth, humor, and magnetic personality touched countless lives.
Born on December 20, 1976, Bill was the cherished son of Margaret and Robert Kruczynski, and a beloved brother to Debbie and Keith. He was a proud uncle and godfather to Brooklyn, who held a special place in his heart.
Bill’s early years were shaped by his education at Holy Name of Mary elementary school and Chaminade High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and began cultivating the deep love for people that would define his life.
He worked various jobs throughout his career, but found a true home and community as a bartender at the Lazy Lobster in East Rockaway, where he was adored by patrons and coworkers alike.
A passionate fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants, Bill brought the same energy and loyalty to his sports teams as he did to his relationships. He was also an outstanding golfer, finding joy and peace on the course.
Bill had a rare gift—he could light up any room with his presence and make everyone feel like the most important person in the world. His love for his family and friends was intense and unwavering, and his absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
