William N. Smyth

William Smyth, 78, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026 surrounded by his family. Born on December 31, 1947, Bill grew up in Seaford, N.Y., and he and his wife Maureen raised their 3 children in Valley Stream, N.Y.. Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Maureen; his children Billy, Bryan, and Holly; daughter-in-law Ginnette; son-in-law Mike; and seven grandchildren Kiersten, Jake, Dylan, Lily, Kayla, Lucas, and Emma. An avid Mets, Jets, and Islanders fan, Bill never met a Sudoku or crossword puzzle he didn't conquer. We will miss him dearly.
