Stanley Alexander Reid, Jr.

August 4, 1934– July 9, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stanley Alexander Reid, Jr. on July 9, 2024 at the age of 89. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Stanley Alexander Reid, Jr., affectionately known as Buddy and Grandpa, was born in Brooklyn, NY and served in the US Air Force. Married to Claudette on November 9, 1956, they raised five children, Lesley, Perry, Donna, Gia and Sheree.
Known for his kindness and generosity, he dedicated his career to Track Supervisor at the Metropolitan Transit Authority for 23 years. In his free time, he enjoyed baseball, especially the New York Yankees, listening to music and spending time with the family.
He is survived by Claudette, Lesley, Perry, Donna, Gia and Sheree, nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and niece Helene.
He will be deeply missed and remembered for his legacy of love and kindness.
