Sharahazaud Morgan was born on October 18th, 1961 in Kingston, Jamaica. She and her older brother Anthony were the two children of Vernice and Roy Mendez. In her early childhood she was an athletic tomboy, a cricket bowler that played with the best of them. She also showed determination in exceeding in her studies. Her interest and passion for engineering led her to the United States where she sought to put her teachings and skills to work.
While at a mutual friend's get-together in the Bronx, she met a man named Leon Morgan and they instantly hit it off. The pair were soon married. Shortly after they welcomed their first child Leon Jr. When her son was about 1 year old, Sharahazaudsecured a job as a design drafting engineer for Consolidated Edison in New York City where she had attained 35 years of service. A couple of years later after securing her job she gave birth to her daughter Lee-Ann. Sharahazaud did everything in her will and power to broaden her family's minds and show them new experiences, lifestyles, and locations. Being the avid travel girl she was she has visited over 40 countries.
Her lust for life and excitement, her words of guidance and wisdom, her laughter and smiles, and her connection and enjoyment with family are things that will never be forgotten. Sharahazaud was truly a beaming light of admiration on Earth and can now Rest in Paradise. She is survived by her husband, her two children, her granddaughter, cousins, close friends, and colleagues.
