Salvatore “Sal” Savino, AKA Tutti, 73, transitioned unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Margate, FL.
Sal will be remembered as the life of the party. He loved to entertain family and friends, especially during the holidays. Who can forget the 4th of July parties for Amanda’s birthday at the beach condo with his second family, especially his good friend, Nick? Sal proudly served in the United States Army and had a love for the NY Yankees. Sal has done many things throughout his life and was a jack of all trades, master of everything. He was handy and always had “Sal’s way” of figuring it out. He worked in the family oil business, was a successful restauranteur, and his latest accomplishment was...the founder of Specialty Desserts. Those who knew Sal will always remember him for his big mouth, but his heart was even bigger.
Preceded in passing recently by his daughter, Nancy Savino; his parents, Vito “Bill” and Nancy Savino; his brother, Joseph Savino; and his mother-in-law, Wanda Guidice and many other family and friends.
Survived by his wife, Barbara “Bas” Savino; two sons, William “Bill” (Delight) and Domenic (Jonathan); son-in-law, Rene Ruiz; sisters-in-law, Jane Savino and Wanda Lee (Cliff) Panetta. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Tiffany (Ryan), Rachel (Jake), Amanda, Sofia, and Vincent; his nieces, Debbie (Scott), Lori (Rich), Stacey, and Kathy; and grand nephew and niece, Matthew and Samantha. His four-legged fur babies, Bart, Max, Rosie, Mater, Monarch, Jellybean will miss him greatly.
