Rose Zizzamia

At the age of 94, Rose died peacefully in her family home of 46 years. Rose was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where she met and married her husband Tony  and raised her three wonderful children, Catherine, Joseph and Anthony. 

After moving to Valley Stream in 1970, Rose worked at the Bank of New York as an Administrative Assistant, for 21 years. After she retired she was happily busy with her beautiful grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher, Julie, Alison and Janine. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Cavaliere. In her later years Rose was very active at Holy Name of Mary Church where she spent many wonderful evenings at prayer group and Bible studies along with her many wonderful friends. Six years ago she had the pleasure of welcoming a great grandson Joey and two years ago another great grandson, Mason. Her third great grandchild is due any minute! She was a wonderful woman who was loved by all who knew her and she will surely be missed by family, friends and neighbors
