Robert McKenna was born in Brooklyn, NY. Bob is survived by: his son Robert, grandson Liam, granddaughter Erin, his brother Dennis, and sisters Karen & Maureen.
Bob worked at NY Telephone and later at Verizon. Bob was an avid bowler, youth soccer coach, and an active member of the Holy Name of Mary R.C. Church. Bob was a big Elvis Presley fan and had Elvis’ driver’s license. Bob enjoyed traveling to Switzerland, California, and especially Ireland with his wife, Muriel, who passed away in 2020. Bob visited his wife most everyday in the hospital for over a year until her death. Bob and Muriel were married for 55 years.
Bob, also known as UB, is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dozens of others who remember his generosity, quirky sense of humor, and devotion to his wife Muriel.
