Richard William Judge, beloved son and brother died on January 4, 2025, at the age of 45.
Richard is survived by his parents, Paula and Richard, his sister Janene and a tremendous
number of family and friends, all who loved him dearly.
Richard was born on May 29, 1979, in Valley Stream, Long Island. Right out of high school
Richard worked nights at UPS and then received an associate’s degree in occupational studies
in 2002. Richard then went on to complete a 5 ½ year electrician’s apprenticeship. Richard
became a qualified electrician in 2013 and worked with Local Union No. 3, the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Worker’s until the time of his death.
Richard loved the beach and moved to Long Beach in 2021 where he had a beautiful view of
the ocean from his apartment. Richard also loved his bike and riding different trails. He loved
music, dogs, food, cooking, his family and his friends. It’s safe to say he loved life. Richard had
a wonderfully generous heart and there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for those he loved.
We love you Richard and will miss you every day that passes.
Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on May 31 at St Mary’s Parish Hall in Long
Beach.
