Paul F. Von Werne

Surrounded by his loving family in his final moments, Paul left us on July 14 at the age of 74. 

He is survived by his adoring wife Doreen of 54 years, his three wonderful daughters Denise, Rena, and Lindsay, three “sons” Ryan, Antonio, and Daniel, six amazing grandchildren Deidre, Dylan, Jake, Ella, Andrew and Kyla. 

Paul was affectionately known as Pauly or the Von. He was born in Astoria, NY and is predeceased by his sister, JoAnn.  He worked as a New York City police officer and lived a full life of devotion to his family and friends. 

“A wrench in his hand and a beer in the other God couldn’t make a man any tougher
And that “S” on his chest is starting to fade
