Michael J. Quitoni

Michael "Mike" Quitoni, 65, of Valley Stream, New York, passed away suddenly on January 15, 2022.

 

Mike was born in Manhattan on August 25, 1956, 

 

Mike lived in the Bronx until he met his wife Terry in 1983, whom he adored.

Mike and Terry were married on July 14, 1984.  They were happily married for 38 years.

Mike worked at the US Postal service for 25+ years.  He loved sports and enjoyed talking to his nephews and great nephews about current games. In his younger years, he was an active tennis player and went yearly to the US Open with his nephew Brian Jr.  Pool parities in his yard with his sister-in-laws Ann and Debbie, brother-in-laws Brian Sr. and Al, and all his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, was the highlight of every summer for him. Mike truly loved and cared for his whole family.  Mike and Terry may not have had children, but they treated all their nieces and nephews as if they were their own.

 

Michael (aka Mike, UM, Great Uncle Mike) played a huge role in his family's lives and will be truly missed by all.
