It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of a devoted mother, cherished sister, aunt, cousin, godmother, and loyal friend, who left us far too soon after a courageous battle with cancer. Maxine passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, surrounded by the love of her family and close friends. Maxine is leaving a legacy of strength, compassion, and joy that will never be forgotten. Maxine was a loving mother to her only child, Leon and she poured her heart into raising Leon in a home filled with warmth, love and support. Through every challenge, Maxine remained a pillar of strength, showing her family and friends what it meant to live with resilience and grace. She faced her illness with dignity and bravery, inspiring all who knew her to cherish life and the bonds that hold us together. Though Maxine is no longer with us, her love will forever be a part of the hearts she touched, and we know that she will continue to watch over us. Maxine was, and will always remain, our light in the darkness, our strength in moments of weakness and our example of how to love deeply and unconditionally.
Rest peacefully and soar with the other angels. Dear Maxine, You will always be missed, always loved, and never forgotten.
