Maureen Rezek Wing, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and
devoted follower of Christ, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, in Port Saint Lucie,
Florida. She was 98 years old.

Born on June 24, 1927, in Rosedale, Queens, New York, Maureen lived a life marked by
faith, love, and unwavering devotion to her family and her Savior. Her journey through this
world was one of grace and purpose. Those who knew her were touched by her Christ-like
character and selfless witness to others. Maureen’s deep spiritual devotion was evident in
every aspect of her life as she walked with her eyes fixed on eternity, reflecting the light and
love of her Savior in all that she did.

Maureen is survived by her devoted husband— Teddy; her children— Julie, Eddie, John, and
their spouses; her step-children— Edward and Juanita, and their spouses; her cherished
grandchildren— John Michael, Sarah, Emily, Brian, Jamie, Chris, and her step-
grandchildren— Brandon, Christian, Brandon and Atira; and her treasured great-
grandchildren—Madison, Elliana, Savannah, Colton, and Grayson. She is also lovingly
remembered by her brother Edward Clark. Her family was the heart of her life; she poured
herself into them with boundless love and care. Additionally, Maureen is lovingly
remembered by her brothers and sisters in the faith, and countless friends and family
members.

Maureen’s legacy is one of faithfulness and love—a testament to a life well-lived in service
to God and others. Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those
who were blessed to know her.

May Maureen’s remarkable spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who loved
her. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 03:00 PM to 08:00
PM with the service at 6:00 pm at Edward F. Lieber Funeral Homes, Inc., 266 North Central
Avenue, Valley Stream, NY 11580.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, with the procession leaving the
Edward F. Lieber Funeral Homes at 10:00 am and arriving at 11:15 am at the Calverton
National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, NY 11933.
