MaryAnn Giordano

MaryAnn Giordano, aged 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on August 6, 2024, in Mineola, NY. Born on June 26, 1936, MaryAnn was known for her hardworking, kindhearted nature, and independent spirit. She embraced life with the enthusiasm of a child and was always ready to lend a helping hand to strangers or care for stray animals.

MaryAnn was a cherished mother to her late son Joseph Giordano (Annmarie) and Tammy (Andrew) St. Angelo. She was a beloved grandmother to Christine (Sam) Gadd, Michael (Kim) Giordano, Carly, and Erin St. Angelo, and a great-grandmother to Brantley and Landon Gadd. Throughout her life, she pursued a fulfilling career as a waitress and restaurant manager, a role she cherished almost as much as gardening and doting on her family.

Her 30-year battle with emphysema and COPD showcased her resilience and strength. MaryAnn's love of life and laughter continues to live on in the hearts of her friends and family, leaving a legacy of joy and kindness.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the viewing scheduled for Thursday, August 8, from 5 PM to 9 PM at Lieber Funeral Homes, 2667 North Central Avenue, Valley Stream, NY 11580. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, at 11 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 201 N Central Avenue, Valley Stream, NY 11580. Interment will follow immediately at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.
