Mary Gluck

Mary Gluck née Diodati, age 93, of Valley Stream, New York, beloved wife of Daniel for 69 years, mother of Nicholas (Denise), Pat (Diane) and Frances (Walter) passed peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2023. 

Mary was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Church and the Valley Stream Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was employed by Alexander's Department Store from its opening in 1967 till its closing in 1993. Mary then worked as a caretaker for some very fortunate families. She truly had a gift. 

Family came first for Mary. She got great joy from assisting her children whenever needed and spending time with her four siblings, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

She enjoyed traveling, cruises and summering in Arkville, New York. 

Mary led a full life and will be missed by her family, friends and the Valley Stream community of which she was a member for 76 years.
