Marie Martino

On January 18th, 2023 Marie Martino died peacefully at 94 surrounded by her children Paula Hansen and Joe Martino and her grandson Nick Martino. She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Martino. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Marie raised her beautiful family in Valley Stream, where she lived in the same house for nearly 70 years. She worked as a telephone operator and bookkeeper before committing full time to raising her family. In her free time, she loved to play Canasta with her neighbors and dear friends and dote on her beloved dog Bella. Her kindness, sense of humor, independence, resilience, and love will be terribly missed.
