Margaret Bjelke (Marge)
December 4, 1933-January 28, 2024
Marge was born to Bill and Elizabeth Craig in Marine Park Brooklyn, which is also where she met the love of her life, Edward Bjelke. Together they had three children, Kenneth, David and Jeanne, added two daughters-in-law, Donna and Debra, and two grandchildren, Kayla and Ian.
Marge and Ed's love affair lasted more than 60 years until Ed was called to heaven in 2018.
Marge lived for her family. She was one of the most generous beings to grace this earth. She lived for her grandchildren and was the definition of the perfect grandma. She was quick with a smile and loving word and always had a lap available for a baby (or her grandcat Bootz). Most will remember her holding court on her front porch or with a big smile and even bigger glass of sangria in hand.
Marge is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Donna, daughter Jeanne daughter-in-law Debra, grandchildren Kayla and Ian, brother and sister-in-law John and Mary Jane, and too many nieces and nephews to name (you know who you are and know she loved you all). She will reunite in heaven with her beloved husband and son, Ed and Dave, her parents Bill and Liz, and her brother and sister-in-law Bill and Doris.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christian Social Services Land O'Lakes.
