Lolita Q. Nanong was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend.
She was surrounded by her loving husband of over 40 years, her three children, and nine grandchildren, who brought her so much joy. She dedicated her life to service, as a registered nurse, obtaining her degree in the Philippines and came to America, working most of her years at Harlem Hospital, New York Presbyterian-Colombia Hospital, and being an active member at various churches. She was a lector and eucharistic minister at her parish at Blessed Sacrament church in Valley Stream. She also helped start the group of Our Mother of Perpetual Help at the parish where the novena is currently held every Wednesday. She taught us that prayer moves mountains, to always keep faith, and to put trust in the good Lord and Mother Mary.
She simply was the best, loved by many and will be greatly missed. She touched so many lives and just made this world a better place. You will forever be in our hearts. The best Nana in the universe. Till we meet again. Love you always.
