With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our husband, father, brother, uncle, Pop-Pop, and friend, Joseph M. Moscola. Joe was born on January 5, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY, just after his twin sister, Joan, and lived a full and impactful life until his death on December 6, 2024, surrounded by family. Joe is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn, and children Jennifer (husband Michael), Mary-Beth, Joseph, and Matthew (wife Jamie). Joe is also survived by sister Maryanne, and predeceased by twin sister Joan and older sister Rosalie. He is survived by his beautiful grandchildren: Tyler, Drew, Olivia, Abigail, Dylan, Dominick, Gianna, and Anastasia; step-grandchildren Alexander and Ryan.
Joe was an active member of his faith community of Holy Name of Mary RCC, a devoted family man, and a gracious friend who could make people smile and laugh with his dry humor. He had a quiet way about him, always worked hard, and put love into everything he did.
He fought his dementia from Alzheimer's disease for many years, and while his memory faltered, he never ceased to make us smile, even those who cared for him.
In lieu of flowers, we respectfully request our family and friends make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or the Holy Name of Mary Parish Outreach.
Rest peacefully and soar with the other angels, our dearest Joseph.
