John passed away peacefully at his home on June 12, surrounded by his family, after a long battle with cancer. He was 71.
Born in Brooklyn, John made his home with wife Barbara aka Bennie in Valley Stream, NY. He also leaves behind son Johnny (Traci), daughter Kelly Pandolfi (Paul), grandkids Ryan, Patrick, Matt and Paul, brother Ron (Cathy), sister Angel Caulfield (Jimmy), sister-in-law Donna Romanelli, and loving nieces and nephews.
His happiest years were spent behind the wheel of his truck, and then working for the Town of Hempstead, forced to retire only from a hospital bed.
Quiet, easy going and kind, he enjoyed NASCAR, cheered for the NY Giants, and loved being a grandpa. He will be deeply missed.
