In Loving Memory of Janet Wheeler
Janet Wheeler, a devoted wife, loving mother, and loving grandmother, passed away on October 5th, 2023, leaving a legacy of love and selflessness that will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was born on September 22nd, 1930 to parents Joseph and Dora Richard. On September 15th, 1951, she embarked on a lifelong journey of love and commitment when she married Joseph Wheeler.
Janet's life was marked by unwavering devotion to her family. Her husband, Joseph, was the center of her world, and their enduring love was an example to all who knew them. Together, they raised two wonderful daughters, Susan and Carol, who were the apples of her eye. She also cherished her son-in-law, Raymond, for his love for Carol.
Janet's greatest joy in life came from being a grandmother. Philip, Joseph, Christopher, Brian and his wife Alexis brought immeasurable happiness into her life. She also enjoyed spending her day’s taking care of her loyal companion Buddy, with whom she watched the daily mass, sang her favorite songs, and comforted him as he grew old and ill. She loved them all unconditionally, celebrated their achievements, and was a constant source of support and wisdom.
Janet will be remembered for her boundless kindness, her warm heart, and her selfless nature. She had a way of making everyone around her feel cherished and loved. Her legacy of love and family values will live on in the hearts of her surviving family members.
In this time of grief, we remember Janet as the epitome of love and devotion. Her memory will forever be a guiding light for her family and friends, a reminder of the beauty of a life lived with love as its compass.
She will be dearly missed, but her love and legacy will continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched.
