Hector Veloz Obituary

In Loving Memory of Hector Veloz

Hector Daniel Veloz was born to Anna Rosa Santana Franco and Daniel Heriberto Veloz on November 1st, 1941, in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He was raised by Luis Antonio and Rosa Angelica Navarrete and grew up alongside his beloved siblings: Antuco, Alfredo, Lucho, Cesar, and Betty.

Hector's journey in life was marked by dedication and hard work. He attended grammar school and worked at his father's auto shop.  He later worked at La Gran Colombiana, where he developed valuable skills and work ethic. In the United States, his career path led him to work at Swingline, Bemo Shipping, Charles Happel Inc, and A. Hartrodt, where he developed many long-lasting friendships and left a lasting impact.

In 1966, Hector married the love of his life, Josefina Garcia. Together, they shared a beautiful journey, and their love was the foundation of their family. They welcomed two wonderful daughters, Monica and Myriam, into the world before embarking on a new chapter in their lives, immigrating to the United States in September of 1976. In the U.S., their family continued to grow with the arrival of their beloved son, Gustavo, in 1977.

Hector was not only a dedicated husband but also a loving and caring father and grandfather. He treasured moments with his family and friends, sharing his passions for music, dancing, soccer, spending time at the beach and, most importantly, creating cherished memories with his grandchildren.

Hector's spirit will forever be cherished by his wife Josefina, his children Monica, Myriam and Gustavo, his beloved grandchildren Justin, Christopher, Jaime, Daniel, and Jaxon, his sons in law Steven and Kevin, and all his nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law. His life was a testament to the power of love, family, and dedication, and his memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Hector's legacy of love and strength will live on, and his memory will be carried in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
