George E. Thomson

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of George E. Thomson. He passed earlier this afternoon surrounded by family. In his 89 years, George lived a life full of love, memories and adventure. He is survived by his wife Lorene Thomson, his children Linda Reasoner (Carl), Laurie Thomson (Liz), George Thomson (Jodi) and daughter in law Ann Marie Thomson. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also remembered by the members of the Valley Stream Fire Department in which he holds the rank of Honorary Chief. He will be joining his son Peter Thomson in heaven and will now be at peace. However you knew him, either as a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, soldier, butcher, fire fighter or friend we all love you and will see you again.
