Gennaro DeGennaro

With heavy sadness, we say goodbye to Gennaro DeGennaro, a beloved and devoted
father, husband, Nonno, brother, son and friend to so many.

Gennaro was born on August 21, 1946, in Naples, Italy. He took immense pride in his
journey to this country, his family and his life’s work within the restaurant industry, often
sharing accounts of his time at Maxwell’s Plum, Tavern on the Green, and eventually
realizing his dream of having his own place, La Terrazza.

Gennaro is predeceased by his parents, Ciro and Erminia. Gennaro is survived by his wife Margaret,
loving children Sara DeGennaro, Sharon (Anthony) DiMauro, David (Jessica)
DeGennaro, his grandchildren (Sofia, Dean, Brady, and Cole), his sister Ana, his
brother Salvatore (Yolanda), his sister Adele, his brother Patrick (Debra) and his many
nieces and nephews.

His profound love and dedication to his family will forever be cherished and
remembered.
