Emma M. Filiault

Filiault, The Reverend Emma (Pat) in her 102nd year. Retired minister of the Unity Church of Christianity in Valley Stream, where she served for over 40 years including 25 as minister. Devoted wife of the late Maurice Filiault. Beloved mother of Jean Friedman (Al), John Filiault (Claudia) and James Filiault (Michele). Precious grandmother of Allison, Will, Stephanie (Matt), Sarah (Anthony), Kyle and Matthew. Great grandmother of Ryan and Jack. Loving sister-in-law of Laureen King. Also survived by dear nieces and nephews and many cherished friends. Predeceased by her siblings, Eleanor Shepard and Bill and Arthur King.

During her ministry she was active in the Religious Council of Valley Stream, was a member of Women's Interfaith and was a trustee of the Monica Village Housing Unit. After she retired in 1993 she continued to be a friend and confidant to many she had served during her ministry. She embraced each and every person within a circle of love. She will deeply missed by her family and a host of friends.

Memorial service on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 am at the Unity Church, 14 East Mineola Ave. Valley Stream, NY. Donations may be made to Unity Church in her memory.
