Edward J. Miller

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edward J. Miller on Thursday May 8,2025. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Rosemary (Maritato) and his 3 children Jennifer Avila (Leandro), Edward (Katie) and Joseph (Nicole). He was also the cherished Pop-Pop to Dominic and Mia Avila, Annalee and Joseph Miller, and Sophia Miller. He will be missed greatly by his Sisters in law and Brothers in law Terry and Billy Rhone, Marianne and Robert Nardilla and Joseph Maritato. 

He worked for Brooklyn Union Gas now National Grid for 35 years. He was also a Vietnam Veteran who suffered from the effects of Agent Orange. 

Ed loved to do woodworking in his garage as a pastime. He love going to Disney World with his family, and vacationing in different places with Chris and Tom O’Mara. 

Ed was a kind man with an infectious smile. To know him was to love him and he will be missed beyond measure.
