Betty could be summed up in one word: “WARRIOR.” More than a fighter who battled cancer, she was an exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother who fiercely loved and protected her family.
Born in Brooklyn, the youngest of nine children, Betty blossomed into a talented artist and graphic designer with a flair for fashion - she always looked good!
She had an incredible gift for creativity and shared her talents freely - even cutting hair at no charge for family and friends. She was a highly respected member of her community who donated her time and talents to support her local church.
Her legacy - her love - is intertwined in everything she created and in everything and everyone she touched. Betty gifted us with her presence: she was a part of the special moments of so many lives. When Betty was around, she was fully in every moment. She was a cheerleader for her family. A listening ear. An inspiration. She will forever be missed and forever remain in our hearts. We find comfort in knowing that Betty is in God’s care now and her love remains all around her beloved husband (Jaime), daughters (Kim and Joan), son (Jamie), grandsons (Justin, Jonathan, Jake, and Christopher), and the many she loved and who loved her back.
