Aurea Esther Lurie

Aurea Esther Lurie, 85 years old, of Rosedale, N.Y. left this world peacefully on November 17, 2025. Born in Corozal, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the  late Herminia Bernard and wife of the late Albert Lurie Sr. of almost 53 years. She  loved listening to music, walking, shopping, cooking, and spending time with her family. She always had a beautiful smile and a kind heart to all. Her children, grandchildren, great grandson and great granddaughter brought her great joy. She had a deep and unwavering faith and steady relationship with God. She will be missed by her loving family: her son Albert Lurie Jr. (Lucia), her daughter Nancy Chamorro (Victor), her daughter Sandra Medina (Ramón), her son Scott Lurie (Astrid), her granddaughter Carissa Rosario (Jonathan), her granddaughter Jessica Chamorro (Damian), her  granddaughter Sienna Medina, Her great grandson Landon Jett Rosario, her great granddaughter Issa Herrera, and her beloved cat the late Gizmo.
