Archie is survived and cherished by his loving wife Ellie Cardona-Poladian of 25 years and a devoted chase of 10 more; his children from birth, Nickoles and Brianna, Dakota ( his fur baby) and father figure to many who weren’t his biological kids but held a place in his heart always.
He will also be forever remembered by his family and friends and the NYC Department of Sanitation.
Archie, cast a shining light on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey with us was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering devotion to the ones he so deeply loved . While his passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many whose lives were touched by him, he has given all a trove of memories, stories, celebrations, laughs and cheers over his 50 years and more of life.
We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of sharing time with him.
Those who knew Archie will remember him for his infectious smile and his love for being a jokester. Also, for his unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path, "Guaranteed to have the time of his life.

So in remembrance of him and who he was I am asking for everyone not to wear all black or gray. The requested attire for Archie’s funeral is to DRESS DOWN. Shorts or regular jeans with sneakers. He always wore a white wife beater, so that is definitely an option, even on a blizzard day. Or a sports team shirt or jersey and it has to be one of his favorite teams, Archie’s favorite teams are Mets, Knicks, Rangers, and Miami Dolphins. He also enjoyed wrestling. If you don’t own anything of this kind, at least represent the team color.
