Antonette Latino, 87 of Rosedale NY passed from this life peacefully on Saturday, August 26th 2023. Antonette was born August 6th 1936 in Santa Croce Camerina, Sicily to the late Pietro and Pietrina Rizzo. Her family moved from Sicily to New Jersey when she was 20 years old. Antonette was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A seamstress by trade, she made many of her own clothes and was always beautifully dressed. Throughout the years she loved going to dinner dances with her husband, family and friends. She loved playing cards, cooking, shopping,gardening and being with her family. Her greatest joy was being around the babies and kids of the family. She was known for cooking and baking for all family dinners for the holidays or just a random day of the week. It was common to walk into her house at any time and find her cooking or baking something. She was Famous with family and friends for her Italian rainbow cookies. She will be so greatly missed.
Antonette is survived by her husband Giuseppe Latino; sons Cory, Peter and Anthony; grandchildren Joanne, Cory, Anthony,Ariana, Joseph, Nicole, Anthony and Marissa; as well by her many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
