Anthony V. Rocco

Anthony Rocco was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a long-time resident of Valley Stream, NY. He often told the story that when the decision was made to move the family from Brooklyn to Long Island his wife Theresa resisted the move since she thought she was moving to the country. Turned out that they both loved living in Valley Stream. It met all of their needs for the next 60 years. 

They both lived a long life. Anthony often joked that the reason was CVS, meaning medication. Though the truth for them, Anthony 98, and Theresa 95 was simple, clean living. Another note is that they passed away one day apart from each other. He on March 17,2026 and she on March 18, 2024. A true love story. 

Anthony was a family man and was a proud homeowner. He enjoyed working on projects around the house both inside and outside. His pride and joy. 

He is survived by his son Anthony and his wife Lisa. His son Michael. Grandson Christopher and his wife Meghan and two great grandsons Evan and Connor.    

Anthony will be deeply missed by those that loved him. Now to be reunited with his wife of 71 years. Rest in peace together, my dear parents.
