Altagracia Polanco

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved grandmother, Altagracia Polanco. 

Altagracia was a beacon of love and kindness, whose presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew her.

Born on June 18, 1943, Altagracia was a native of the Dominican Republic. She was known for her unwavering devotion to her loved ones and her infectious laughter that lit up any room she entered.

Altagracia was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She cherished her family above all else and found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure.

Throughout her life, Altagracia touched the hearts of many with her generosity, compassion, and gentle spirit. She was a source of strength and support for her family, offering wise counsel and unconditional love during both times of triumph and adversity.

Altagracia will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She was predeceased by her husband Jose Polanco, whom she was married to for more than 50 years, and is survived by her five children: Altagracia Estrella, Felix Reyes Estrella, Ana Vargas Estrella, Jose Polanco Estrella, and Carmen Polanco Estrella; her twelve grandchildren: Elizabeth Mayolino, Ralt Mayolino, Maurelly Pichardo, Sasha Reyes, Felix Reyes, Miguel Angel Garcia, Anamy Garcia, Michelle Garcia, Katiuska Polanco, Katherine Polanco, Awilka David, and Kevin David; and her great-grandchild, Luna Reyes, and a host of relatives and friends who will cherish her memory forever.

May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
