Alfred Garfield King III, known by most as “Nicky” was born on December 29th, 1946 to the late Alfred G. King II and the late Eugenia B. Holly. He along with his brothers, Shawn and the late John started their early years in Chattanooga, Tennessee and spent time in Miami, Florida, before making their way to New York.
Nicky graduated from Harlem Hospital School of Nursing’s Anesthesia Program in 1974. He was an extremely passionate Nurse Anesthetist for nearly 50 years. He had a profound love for sharing his knowledge with all health care professionals who crossed his path.
He loved basketball, most importantly the New York Knicks. Over the years, he also enjoyed fishing, golfing, spoiling his dog Bam Bamm and spending time with his family.
Nicky is survived by his spouse, Ana, his children, Nicolas, Lindsay, Xenia and Niki and his grandchildren, Massai, Ellison, Asante and Seiji. He will always be remembered for his contagious, kindhearted spirit and his loving, warm personality.
Your support and attendance of Nicky’s services is truly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask you to donate to the New York Cancer Foundation. https://nycancerfoundation.org/donate/
