Aida L. Mateo

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Aida Luz Mateo, age 80, who passed away peacefully at her home in Elmont, NY on July 4th, 2024. Aida had a beautiful journey of life, traveling the world with her friends and family. Aida retired from TWA and CitiBank and spent the rest of her years devoting time to her children and grandchildren. She loved her home, decorating her space and arranging her backyard with beautiful flowers. She loved listening to Salsa music, her favorite artist was Marc Anthony. She enjoyed visiting Puerto Rico every winter as it was her favorite place to go. Aida was a devoted Catholic who went the extra mile for the people she loved. Aida will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew her. 

Aida is longly remembered by her sons, Joseph Jr. and Kenneth, her grandchildren, Jenny, Joseph III, Sydney, Cameron, Devin and Evan, and her great grandchildren, Jason, Zachary and Zaidaly.
