Suzanne G. Kornfeld

Suzanne Gayle Kornfeld, daughter of Ruth And Phillip Kaplan was born in Brooklyn New York on August 29th, 1936 and passed away on December 25th, 2018. Far Rockaway was home to Suzanne for most of her life. It is where she met her then husband Stanley Kornfeld. They had 3 children, Dana, Shari ( Brian Howley), and Matthew.

She has 3 grandchildren, Anthony and Nicole Capone, and Max, 2 brothers Eddie and Marty, several nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends, all of whom touched her life.

Suzanne selflessly dedicated her life to loving and nurturing her family, friends and coworkers. For over 40 years she worked tirelessly to serve the mental health community at Central Manor. Suzanne spent many years donating her time off to volunteer at a not for profit thrift shop and feeding, rescuing and adopting many animals. Music, reading, dancing, watercolor painting, gardening and cooking for family and friends gave her joy.
