Jeannette Martinez was a loving mother, friend and neighbor. She was the middle child to Virginia and Justiñano Romero. Growing up in Bogota, Colombia she was very intuitive and always looking at things with visions of grandeur. She went to college in Bogota to study architecture and made her move to the United States of America, where she would not only meet the love of her life, Roberto Martinez II, but also found a career that brought her joy and notoriety. Among some of the bigger projects she had a large impact in was Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, RI which is known as one of the top pediatric cancer centers in the Northeast. She gave birth to two children Roberto Martinez III and Claudia Victoria Martinez who were her pride and joy and her biggest accomplishment. Throughout her life she faced adversity head on and she kept a positive attitude and continued to set an example to her two children and friends who loved her dearly. Throughout her life, Jeannette was loved by her friends and family, and she loved with the same tenacity she held in her illustrious career. Her indelible mark will be felt for years and generations to come. The world has lost a loving person who would do everything she could for anyone who needed a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen to and a helping hand.
