Born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Valley Stream over 50 years. Loving mother of Joanne Maini (John), Kathleen, John (Margery), Patricia Fitzgibbons (Mark), Matthew (Kimberly). Adored Nanny to John (Ashley), Kaitlin, Michael (Jenna), Brian (Nicolette), Jennifer (Vinny), Erin, Daniel, Raymond, Megan, Kelly & Lucas. Great Nanny to Madison & John.
Jean joined her beloved husband Ray after a long courageous battle with cancer. Her strength is a close second to her unending love and pride for her family. A stay at home mom, Jean volunteered at Mercy Hospital and became a lunch monitor at Wheeler Avenue School. Aside from her family Jean loved her church, her faith & her friends. She enjoyed playing mah jong, making ceramics, her soap operas and nothing more than being surrounded by her family. Always sharp as a tac, remembered everyone & everything. Her sense of humor with her till the end. She is loved and will be missed by all.
