Christopher George Faust was a loving, generous and charismatic person. Born on December 20th, 1958 in Camden, New Jersey, his family moved to Los Lunas, New Mexico when he was young. After graduating from Los Lunas High School, Chris worked with his father in construction and then went on to open his own company called, Spirit Constructors. In 1991 Chris moved to Valley Stream, New York to work as a supervisor for the MTA.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his mother, Nancy; his siblings, Nancee and Curt (Djuana); his children, Kimberly (Brandon), and Christopher; his grandchildren Jaden and Jenevieve; his niece Katherine; his nephews Vincent (Chris), Michael and Ishmael; and his great-niece, Hailey. He has been united with his father, George, and brother Charles in heaven.
Chris was active in his community and church, volunteering selflessly for multiple organizations including the Knights of the Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He enjoyed singing as a cantor and in St. Joseph’s choir. He also sang in the Diocesan Choir and Schola of Rockville Centre. He was afforded many opportunities to travel abroad, including trips to Russia, Italy, Germany, and Austria.
Chris passed on November 15th, 2018, after a two year battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Knights of Columbus, Father Farrell Council at PO Box 421 Hewlett NY, 11557.
