She was born on March 7, 1922 in New York, daughter of the late Harry McKeough and Margaret Braham McKeough. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Merlin Hunter, her son Richard Hunter, her son in law John Prince and a granddaughter Michelle.Survivors include her children Dennis and Lori Hunter, Bernice Hunter, Barbara Walden, Diane Prince, Laure Hunter and Maryellen and John Smyth; her grandchildren Mark (Melissa), Keith (Lauren), Julie (Richard), Jason (Kristen), Jessica and Peter (Teresa), Barbara and Catherine and her great grandchildren Caroline, Audrey, Benjamin, Brendan and Emily.
She loved playing bridge as well as doing crossword puzzles and enjoyed swimming laps into her 90s . A favorite pastime was watching the Washington Capitals, Nationals (after being a Met fan ) and yelling at the TV when the players did not do their jobs to her standards. Jeopardy time was sacred we knew not to call during that time. Family Parties topped the list of her travel destinations where she met the new members of the family old and new. She was loved and will be missed greatly.
